A magnificent 4 meters high steel sculpture by the Tunisian artist Inkman welcomes you on the pavement in front of the Carlton. Installed in January 2020 on the occasion of the 10th year of the Tunisian revolution, which began right in front of the Carlton on Habib Bourguiba Avenue, the epicenter of the Arab Spring. Since then, it has been the birthplace of Tunisian democracy. “Liberty”, “Hourrya”, is a tribute to the victims of the past, and a message of hope for the generations to come.
